I have never been to The Comet. But I plan to go soon. Only because I just found out that it was the last place Mia Zappada from the band The Gets was seen alive before she was murdered. Sure, murderers visit all bars I'm sure. But what makes this bar so special? I would like to find out. After all, this was Mia's favorite bar that she frequented often. Granted, I rarely ever drink. I prefer to smoke. But I plan to make an exception soon when I visit The Comet on Pike Street in Seattle. I must warn you though, I have never been to a bar that I liked in Washington state. And after reading the rest of the reviews posted here, it doesn't sound good. Since they don't allow girlies in the same establishment as alcohol in this state, I must travel to Portland Oregon or Vancouver Canada to fulfill those needs. And those places are off the hook! No comparison whatsoever.

The Comet is the best goddamn bar in Seattle. Thank you Mike, Brian, Tom, etc. Also, the nicest bathroom of any bar in town. -R
